Zinnia invites your daughter into the Magic Cottage for a day of noticing and drawing.
We’ll begin by exploring mark making with pencil. We will experiment with different pencil grades, lines, shading and pressure. Then we’ll use those discoveries to draw from observation. In the afternoon, each child will create a carefully observed portrait from a reference photograph, bringing the day’s skills together.
I will invite your budding artist to slow down, focus and follow their wonder onto the page. I am so excited to help them grow more confident with a pencil and discover a way of noticing the world they can return to whenever they draw. As always, the Magic Cottage will be a safe and supportive place to learn and make art.
There are only six spots available, which makes a magical small group. 💜
