Feminine Antiquity

The Feminine Antiquity series reimagines historical feminine figures through their relationship to nature. The works reclaim spaces and postures inherited from a Western art-historical tradition that has often excluded or devalued women’s perspectives and ways of knowing. Through images of awakening, fertility, transformation and becoming, the series considers how women claim agency, embodiment and presence.
